Iced coffee is a wonderful treat in my book. We drink lots and lots of coffee around our house, but almost always hot coffee.

As the temperatures warm up we drink less. I have discovered the wonderful world of iced coffee at the local General Store. I decided surely I could make something similar at home.
Sure enough it did the trick for an afternoon pick me up! It is so simple too. I added a little heavy cream but half and half or milk would work fine.
Double the recipe if you have someone to share with. I made ice cubes from my morning coffee and it provided the full coffee flavor I was looking for without the watered down taste you get with regular ice cubes.

- 2 cups coffee ice cubes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup Hershey's chocolate syrup
- Place all ingredients into a blender and process until ice is crushed.
- Pour into a 2 glasses and serve with straws.
To make coffee ice cubes, just poor cooled brewed coffee into ice trays and freeze. Store coffee ice cubes in a zip top freezer bag until ready to use.
