Spring is still coming on slow here in Wyoming.  The trees are budding out but they don't have leaves yet.  The grass has started and the calves are hitting the ground.  I love spring.

I took the weekend off and even though I still did plenty of cooking, I didn't take any photos.  So today I'm just going to share a few photos and a few stories of what we've been up to.

My two older boys have been turkey hunting every chance they get and my oldest son got one!  I love seeing the wild turkeys and hearing them gobble.  The guys took me turkey hunting once.  I think I was within 5 feet of the turkeys but I couldn't get it all together to shoot one.  They still tease me.

This is my little guy and I would say he was a little excited to hunt the Easter eggs! We had a really nice, quiet day. I cooked a ham, mashed potatoes, salad, homemade rolls and a wonderful chocolate pie.

My older boys were nice enough to hang out with the little guy to hunt the Easter eggs but I'm pretty sure they were more excited about the chocolate pie!

And I will leave you with a nice picture of Coco the weanie dog and Sally the catahoula.  They are looking out at the cows just daring them to come into the yard.

Have a great week! I'll be back with a recipe in a day or two.

    Enjoy!

    Miss
