How about some juicy and very flavorful chicken? Lemon-garlic chicken is the way to go! The lemon is refreshing with the robust flavor of garlic. The drumsticks stay moist and juicy on the inside while the skin crisps up as it bakes. Everyone thought we were having some kind of bland chicken dinner, until they tasted it. They were wondering, Where's the Sauce! No sauce needed here, the lemon-garlic mixture is basted over the chicken several times as it bakes, and creates a really great tasting chicken! Give it whirl.
9-10 chicken drumsticks, rinsed and patted dry
⅓ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl combine lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt & pepper, stirring until well combined. Place drumsticks on a baking sheet and brush both sides with lemon and garlic mixture. Bake, uncovered for 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked through, basting with lemon-garlic mixture every 20 minutes.
