Kinetic Sand Review and gift ideas for kids with Uncommon Goods.
I’m going to help you out with a few excellent ideas for kids. I have 3 boys: 18, 16, and 8 (well 9 next week!) and Kinetic Sand was a hit with all three. It’s not too often that a gift comes along that fits that age range but Kinetic Sand from Uncommon Goods definitely does!
Emmet had so much fun with the Kinetic Sand, he played with it until bedtime and the next morning he went straight to the Kinetic Sand. He has continued to play with it for weeks. He doesn’t get tired of it. It is just so much fun.
My older boys both said it was the coolest stuff ever. You can make it into shapes, yet it easily crumbles. It doesn’t dry out it doesn’t get weird, it is just really fun. I had a bit of it sitting on my desk and I couldn’t leave it alone. It would be ideal for anyone, including adults who like to fiddle with something.
Emmet was playing with it on the coffee table for days and it did make a little bit of a mess on the floor (no worries, easy cleanup), so I put it into a shallow baking sheet and no more mess. It is the kind of thing kids won’t get tired of, it continues to be fun day after day. My kids give it a thumbs up. This would be great for the kids ages 3 to 100 on your list.
There are so many great gifts on Uncommon Goods for everyone on your list, it is always one of my top places to look for gifts for all occasions.
My other top picks for kids this year are the Pick Punch
Now I’m off to shop and bake and decorate. I have so much to do but I really love this time of year!
Disclosure: I received the Kinetic Sand for my kids to review but I was not compensated for this post. All opinions and text are my own. Emmet received the Gummy Bear Light as a gift from family, it is included because he really loves it.
