The kitchen remodel is on hold until my new cook top, which I am super excited about, and the dishwasher arrive. I decided to keep my oven and refrigerator because they are still in pretty good shape. I have to say the kitchen is coming together so nice and I am loving the extra space! I really can't wait to show it to you! The oven is in and working so the first thing I had to do was whip up some cookies. Espresso powder is my new favorite cookie ingredient, it adds a little depth to the flavor and enhances the chocolate chips and let's face it oatmeal and chocolate chips go hand in hand. These cookies received rave reviews and quickly disappeared, I kind of wished I had doubled the batch. If you have a hankering for something sweet these will surely do the trick!
