In reply to <a href="https://www.missinthekitchen.com/easy-sloppy-joes/comment-page-1/#comment-70271">Shari</a>.

Hi Shari,
This makes my day! We just made these sloppy joes for dinner this week and it is truly one of our favorites. I am so glad you came across this version and I love it when a recipe turns out like you remember. Thanks for taking the time to comment and leave a five star rating, it means so much to have the feedback and connection!

Hi there! I am 73 years old, and my Mom made these for our family beginning either in the late 50's or early 60's. We all loved them, and I made them last week for the first time in many years, before finding your recipe. I was trying to remember how she made them, and I did pretty good because they tasted pretty much like I remembered as a kid. I have scoured the internet trying to find a recipe similar to hers, and I finally found yours. Yay! She made the same recipe, but she didn't add bell peppers, and I don't really remember Worcestershire sauce in hers, but maybe she didn't use as much. Made them for hubby, and he just raves about them. Thank you so much for posting this recipe!
