Recipe Notes

  • Soda: Sprite or club soda can be substituted for ginger ale if desired.
  • Triple Sec: Adds a bit of citrus flavor and sweetness to the punch, if you aren’t a fan of orange liqueur, you can skip this ingredient.
  • Lemonade Concentrate: If you can’t find pink lemonade, regular will work fine, the punch might not be as brightly colored. Sometimes the frozen concentrate is hard to find. Use lemonade mix for 1/2 gallon mixing with 12 ounces water.
  • Garnishes: Optional garnishes are sugared cranberries, lemon twist or orange slices.
  • Make Ahead: This vodka punch can be made ahead and chilled in the refrigerator over night. It is best to stir in the ginger ale just before serving.
  • Frozen: Make it a frozen cocktail by placing into a gallon zip top bag and freezing until ready to serve.
  • Punch Without Alcohol: I always like to serve this Holiday Party Punch with cranberry juice for a great option that is a kid friendly punch that adults love too.

    1. Quick question, do I need to mix in the frozen lemonade as is, or follow the instructions to make the lemonade first, then mix it all in? Thank you!

        1. What if u can’t find frozen pink lemonade and can only find frozen lemonade or limeade…will it still work with this drink

          1. I would like to know that too! Want to make this weekend and only found lemonade not pink lemonade

    2. What can u use if u can’t find frozen pink lemonade? Can u use frozen lemonade or can u get pink lemonade mix and make it to mix in

      1. Hi Pamela,
Regular frozen lemonade will work just fine. It might change the color slightly but won’t change the flavor at all. I hope this helps.

    3. Saw this and had to make it for a girls 4-day weekend starting tomorrow. In my hurry I forgot to bring ingredients list and had looked at so many drink recipes prior, that I got lemon-lime instead of ginger ale..must have been thinking of one other. Do you think that will taste okay? I did get everything else correct! Thanks.

        1. Hi, when purchasing the Moscato I had a choice between with fizz or without. Which would be best in this recipe?

    4. I detest ginger ale…and am not a fan of triple sec. What can I use to keep this red colored for a Christmas drink that will keep this red colored and tasty?

      1. Hi Jane,
Substitute Sprite for the ginger ale and you can skip the triple sec. Neither of these effect the color, it is red from the cranberry juice. I hope you enjoy it.

      1. Hi Denise,
You could divide the batch by half or fourths for a small batch. This punch is very delicious and always a hit for parties. You could also make the whole batch and freeze any leftovers in a zip top freezer bag up to 3 months.
