Hi Robert,
 Did you use granulated garlic or garlic powder? Garlic powder is finer and more potent than granulated garlic. I am guessing that is what happened and I am sorry that the garlic was too overpowering.

 Thank you for letting me know that was missing. I have updated the recipe card with the broccoli and clarified the directions to add the frozen broccoli to the casserole, you don&#039;t have to cook it first. I hope you get the chance to try it.
