I want to make these for an office potluck but I’d have to make them the night before. Do you think they would be OK if served the 2nd day?

You can just make an apple pie filling with cinnamon and brown sugar and it will be just as delicious.

Hello, just found your recipe and would love to make it but I live in the UK. I have looked on Amazon but I don’t think they sell the apple butter.
Is there a substitute I could use.?
I would love to hear any suggestions from you.

Hi Cindy,
I use dulce de leche – which is available in most grocery stores. It can be in the Mexican food section sometimes. It is caramelized sweetened condensed milk. You can also substitute caramel sauce or caramel ice cream topping. I hope this helps.
