If you combine the sugar for the filling and the zest of 1-2 lemons in a small bowl, then brush the entire surface with some melted butter, (leaving about a 1/2-inch border) then spread sugar mixture over dough, sprinkle with blackberries, pressing them gently into the dough and drizzle with some more melted butter. Tightly roll the dough, pinching ends and edges together well as you go. Carefully slice rolled dough into 12 equal pieces. Place in prepared pan, cover, and allow to rise for an hour, or until doubled in size. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until centers reach 200°F. Then drizzle with icing, sooo good, and less messy.]]></description>

 You can refrigerate the dough overnight. I think you could cook half and refrigerate, then bake the other half the next day.
