Hi Rhiannon,
I don’t see any reason vodka wouldn’t work. I would try about 8 ounces of vodka and adjust to taste. It will make a smaller batch using vodka instead of the wine.

Have you ever tried it with replacing the wine with vodka? I’m wanting to make this for a bunch of my friends and we aren’t really wine enjoyers.

May I use blackberry syrup (used for sno-cones) in place of the blackberries, sugar, and water? If so, how much should I use for a 1 gallon recipe?

Made this for my ladies Bunko group who are always game for a new punch recipe. All that tried it thought it was delish, but we would add some vodka to pack a bigger punch (pun intended!). Thanks for the recipe, it’s a keeper!!

Hi Heather,
I’m glad it was a hit! It is light on the alcohol, so you could add about 2 cups of rum or vodka to make it a little stronger.
