I’m looking for a sugar cookie recipe for a baby shower. The theme is dinosaur and I’d like to imprint the cookie with a toy dinosaur foot. Would this recipe possibly work? (Instead of smashing it flat with a glass?)

I pack them in small stacks with parchment paper around each stack and that helps. I am glad. you are enjoying them.

In reply to Cynthia Romo Vargas. These cookies are more delicate than other sugar cookies I have made. If mailing, they may crumble, but every crumb will be delish. I have another sugar cookie for messy eaters, but for me, this is a favorite!

Made these cookies Today. My husband likes them but I found them to be a little dry and bland. I loved how easy they were to make and the texture of the dough was so soft and perfect. I will try them again with more vanilla or almond. Thank you for sharing.
