    Bacon-Ranch Guacamole | www.missinthekitchen #virtualpotluck

In a few weeks we will all be plopping down on the couch to watch the BIG GAME, The Super Bowl, or the best 3 hours of commercials.  No matter if you love the game or the commercials or none of it at all, I know you have to love the food!

Today Virtual Potluck has you covered in the guacamole department!  We are all making a great version of everyone's favorite avocado dip and let me tell you, they are all mouth-watering!  The links are below the recipe, check them out, every one of them!!

I just picked up a 10 pound box of bacon on Friday so I knew my guacamole was going to have some bacon in it.  When I went to grab the garlic from the cabinet, I spotted the Ranch dressing mix.  Bacon and ranch are made for each other and of course it's good in the guacamole too!

The bacon adds a little crunch and the ranch adds great flavor without overwhelming the avocados.  This is a guacamole that everyone will love! For sure!  It has bacon in it, yes everyone will love you for making it.

Links to all of the Virtual Potluck Guacamole recipes are below the recipe.

    Bacon-Ranch Guacamole

    • 4 ripe avocados
    • 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • 1 tablespoon dry Ranch Dressing Mix (I used Hidden Valley Ranch)
    • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic
    • 1-2 dashes hot sauce
    • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
    • ¼ cup crumbled, cooked bacon

    Directions:

Cut avocados in half and carefully remove pits (reserve one pit).  Scoop avocado into a bowl and add lemon.  Mash with a fork leaving some chunks.  Add salt, Ranch dressing mix, garlic, hot sauce, and mayo, stir until well combined.  Fold in crumbled  bacon.  Pour into serving bowl and place reserved pit in center until ready to serve. (Pit will keep guacmole bright green!)
