Christmas Gift Guide 2012 for Guys & Ladies

Last minute shopper? Let me help you!  I’ve got some great gift ideas for you. I’m a last minute shopper, or am I a right on time shopper? I don’t know. I have a few things bought but I still have a long way to go. I just have a hard time getting into the Christmas shopping mood before December.

I’m going to start out with the guys. Guys are always a little tough to buy for, especially if they are like my guys.  My boys speak in grunts and whistles and they don’t want to talk about what they want for Christmas.  Do you know guys like that?  These are gifts that guys’ guys will like.  You know what I mean?  Outdoorsy, working guy stuff.  If you are looking for preppy, I’m not going to be much help.

Gerber Bear Grylls Survival Tool Pack This is the handiest little tool for guys to carry in their pickup or tool box or even keep in their desk.  My husband got one of these from the boys last Christmas and it is his favorite!

Boot Wader & Dryer This is a great gift for those guys who are always outside in the elements, working or hunting or just having fun.  I don’t know how we ever survived without one of these!  They really work and they circulate air all the way through the boot.  Works for gloves too.

Happy, Happy, Happy T-Shirt from Duck Dynasty   My new favorite saying from the tv show Duck Dynasty, and if you haven’t watched it yet, it is HILARIOUS!

Portable Ping-Pong Set Quirky but fun! What guy can resist a ping-pong challenge? The best way to settle any dispute and have a little fun.

Now for the ladies!

Some ladies are hard to buy for too.  I have some great ideas that will fit a range of tastes, characters and ages.

Birchbox I figure you have heard of this one, but if not let me tell you about it. Birchbox contains hand-picked beauty and lifestyle samples, delivered to your door each month.  I love it because I find products that I might not have found otherwise.  As much as I love beauty and style magazines I just don’t have the time to keep up with what’s new and happening.  Birchbox keeps me current.  I bought a subscription for my niece for her birthday and she loves it.  This would fit everyone from 15 and up!

L’Occitane Shea Embrace Gift Set Another great beauty gift for your favorite gal. This is such a special gift.  Last Christmas I bought my sister-in-law a L’Occitane gift set with some of these same products and guess what?  She bought me the same exact thing!  We were both thrilled!  The Body Cream is the best stuff ever, it is my absolute favorite moisturizer.  I can’t say enough to tell you how much I love it.

Kate Spade Deborah Dot Journal  If you know me, you know I really love Kate Spade, everything Kate Spade!  I have a couple of Kate Spade purses and they are the really the only stylish things I will splurge on.  For the stylish gal on your list this journal will go everywhere she goes!  Plus I can’t resist the dots.

AniDesignsllc Flower Drop Earrings (Etsy) Jewelry is always a good idea in my opinion.  I love the jewelry from this Etsy shop and if you are looking for stamped jewelry (and other cool things) check out Girl in Air.

On the opposite end of the spectrum I love these rings from Tiffany & Co. The Tiffany Twist Ring & Band Ring.  Simple and elegant.

Stocking stuffers for guys: cologne, shaving kits, ear buds, i-Tunes gift cards, sporting goods gift cards, auto detail or car wash gift certificate, gloves, watch, movie tickets. wallet, travel coffee mug.

Stocking stuffers for ladies: perfume, body spray, lotion, earrings, scarf, gloves, spa gift certificate, wallet, make-up case, lip balm, fuzzy socks, nail polish, manicure set, coffee mug, hair accessories and CHOCOLATE!

Just a few ideas that I hope will help you out in your search for Christmas gifts!  In case you missed it here’s my round up of Gift Ideas for Kids & Teens and I have another one coming up for foodies!

Merry Christmas and happy shopping!
