Birchbox: Jouer Review

by Milisa on March 3, 2013

I’ve mentioned Birchbox here before.  Once a month I receive a box of goodies from Birchbox and often, it makes my day. I get pretty excited, I talk about it A LOT.

So you can imagine my excitement when, a while back I got the chance to try the Jouer Body Butter & Fragrance Roller Ball from Birchbox.  I am in love with the Joeur Lip Enhancer, so I had a good feeling about these products.

I have super dry skin and during the winter it is especially dry.  The Wyoming air is extremely dry and I often run the humidifier just to try and offset it a little.  The  Jouer Body Butter is so hydrating plus it has a wonderful scent of gardenia, jasmine & honeysuckle.  I  applied it after showering before bed.  The next day my skin felt great, I didn’t even apply additional lotion, which is unusual for me.

The Jouer Fragrance Roller Ball was just the perfect  clean and fresh scent of gardenia, jasmine, and honeysuckle.  I felt good about wearing it during the day without it being to heavy.  Plus I love that it’s the same scent as the body butter, so they are not competing.

I have a few more tips on Staying Hydrated over on the recipe page, be sure to check it out.

You can follow Birchbox on twitter, facebookpinterest, and youtube, read the blog for inspiration, and get a monthly subscription to try new products every month.

I’ve wanted to give this a whirl, but haven’t yet! Wondering if you feel like there is a lot you don’t use from month to month?

I find that I do use most all of the products. There has been a time or two that I gave one of the items to my teenage niece and she was thrilled. I like it because I get to try new products that I might not know about. It’s fun!
