Parmesan cheese could be considered its own food group around our house. So when I saw the Kitchen Table Bakers Parmesan Crisps, I knew we were going to love them.
I’ve seen the delicate, lacy-looking Parmesan crisps that are homemade, although I’ve never made them. The Kitchen Table Bakers Parmesan Crisps are thick and crunchy like a cracker. However, they are wheat, gluten and sugar free!
These crisps hold up well to dips like hummus or serve them with bruschetta. I actually had to hide them because I knew we just eat them all up before I had a chance to write about them.
We tried the Aged Parmesan, Everything, Sesame, and Rosemary flavors. My favorites were the Everything and the Rosemary, but I’m telling you they were all wonderful!
I wanted to come up with something for that would work for a Super Bowl appetizer or really any party. It seems any good Super Bowl snack has bacon, so I fried a few pieces of bacon, made a batch of ricotta cheese and went to playing around.
What I came up with was a flavor combination that was surprisingly good! I topped the Parmesan Crisps with the ricotta cheese, a little of the orange marmalade that my Mom made and gave me for Christmas. I added a few crumbles of the bacon and thought a fresh herb would really brighten up the flavors so I tossed on a little fresh thyme.
I have to admit this looks and sounds a little frou-frou for my guys or for the Super Bowl. However, this was the response from my guys….They walk in and pick one up, then they ask if they can have it. Next they take a bite, and then it was, “Yum, this is really good, what is it?” We sat around the kitchen bar and ate it until it was gone.
I call that a success, frou-frou or not!

You can pick up these fine Parmesan Crisps online or through the store locator. There are several other flavors such as garlic and Italian herb, you can’t go wrong!
