Pineapple-Orange Cream Milkshakes

When school starts it seems like summer is officially over but I’m hanging on to the last bits of warm weather.  On a hot Sunday afternoon a milkshake is sure enough a treat.  The older boys were out enjoying the sunshine and I split a Pineapple-Orange Cream Milkshake with my little guy.  I used the rest of the batch to make ice cream bars and they were fantastic!

On Friday my boys had a football game across the state.  We didn’t make the drive and then I wish we had.  It is always a tough call to go or not to go.  If we go there are always things that we let go on the ranch.  The boys had a great game and my oldest, Cody was chosen as Sportsman of the game.  He received a t-shirt and a big hug from his Momma when he got home.

On Saturday Cody and my husband moved cows.

Isn’t Wyoming a lovely shade brown?  It continues to be so dry.

I went into town and watched Tucker in the JV football game.  He did really well and made an interception.  Of course I was too slow with the camera to get a good picture of that.  I did get several of him making tackles.  He’s number 22 in the blue.

I’m really proud of my boys, can you tell?  A good weekend all in all.  How was your weekend?

Hey maybe the grass isn’t lovely, but the horse sure is! What a fantastic treat. :)

This reminds me of my childhood, we made orange milkshakes all the time. Now I need to add pineapple!

Not only do I love that milkshake, I love the pics of your family! I love the wide open space of the one moving cows…I want to be on that horse :) Good job on your son’s game!!! So fun to watch them play, and its always great to experience a proud moment with them.

I’m holding on to summer too. It stays warm here for quite a while, but yesterday I felt the air change (for a second) and I kind of panicked. I am not ready for our swimming days to be over yet :)
