Iced coffee is a wonderful treat in my book. We drink lots and lots of coffee around our house, but almost always hot coffee. As the temperatures warm up we drink less. I have discovered the wonderous world of iced coffee at the local General Store. I decided surely I could make something similar at home.
Sure enough it did the trick for an afternoon pick me up! It is so simple too. I added a little heavy cream but half and half or milk would work fine. Double the recipe if you have someone to share with. I made ice cubes from my morning coffee and it provided the full coffee flavor I was looking for without the watered down taste you get with regular ice cubes.
Now I have a favor to ask. Remember that Morel Mushroom & Asparagus Tart from a few days ago? Marx Foods is hosting a contest and I could sure use your vote. It just takes a second to vote! Click here to vote now. THANKS!!
Video, did I say video? Yes I did. I am not the star of the video but my prize winning Caramel Macchiato Ice Cream Pie is! Nestle Kitchens made a YouTube video featuring my pie. It kind of made my day, my week, my year! I thought you would like to watch it and see just how darn easy this pie is. Then you will know you have to make one!

So exciting!! This drink sounds awesome, and that pie you created looks fabulous too!
Great – I drooled all over my keyboard.
Voted! Love this recipe. Love coffee but drink it less in the hot weather. This looks perfect for our warm Carolina climate!
I’m in love with anything Mocha… this looks awesome, as did the video… and I voted for you!
