Virtual Potluck: Avocado Mania with SoCal Avocados

by Milisa on February 20, 2012

Welcome to Avocado Mania with Virtual Potluck & SoCal Avocados!  We have prepared some amazing dishes featuring these rich and buttery, fresh from the tree avocados.  Be sure to visit each of the links below to get these great recipes along with a chance to win a wonderful assortment of avocados, picked fresh just for you and delivered to your door!

Heather from Farm Girl Gourmet has Shrimp and Avocado Salad with Alice’s Famous French Dressing.  My day might not be complete without one of these salads!

Matt from Thyme in Our Kitchen has Avocado Egg Rolls with Cilantro Dipping Sauce.  I have a thing for egg rolls and can’t wait to try these!

Avocado-Tuna Salad Over Jasmine Rice from Marnely at Cooking With Books.  She says it is her go to comfort food when cooking for herself.  Sounds so good!

Next we have Avocado Toasties with Kiwifruit Salsa and Bacon from Shelby at Diabetic Foodie.  I am drooling, just thinking about it.

Avocado, Fennel, & Beet Salad from Theresa at Food Hunter’s Guide to Cuisine.  Truly a beautiful salad with amazing flavor.

Avocado Ice Cream, you weren’t expecting that were you?  Well here we have it from Donna at Cookistry. I can’t wait to try it!

Tara from Foodie has brought us some fabulous SoCal Guacamole.  I don’t know about you but I love guacamole so much I could eat it for breakfast!

Vanessa from the Groovy Foody has Dark Chocolate, Coconut Butter and Avocado Pudding.  I can imagine how silky smooth and rich this must be!

Shrimp and Avocado Salad Cups from yours truly!

And Susan From 30A Eats has brought us Avocado Stuffed with Crab Meat Maison.  Delicious for sure!

I know you will want to check out all of these fine recipes! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to follow Virtual Potluck on twitter and facebook to stay up to speed on all of our great activities!

Enjoy!

Have to wait for some good avocados to appear in our market – the ones they currently have are tasteless if you can imagine it.

Have liked SoCal on Facebook
