Time certainly flies doesn’t it? Here we are at the end of 2011 and it has flown by. I ran through my posts of the past year and realized what a great year it has been for this little food blog. I really do appreciate all of the kind comments, emails and those of you that come around for every post.
I won my first recipe contest, was runner up in another and was selected to promote Emeril’s newest cookbook. I even received a tweet from Emeril and I was chosen as the top contributor for that promotion. Out of that the Virtual Potluck was born, which is proving to be a great source of inspiration and support. All great stuff, don’t you agree?
I have many new ideas and big plans for the coming year so I hope you will continue to stop in and see what’s going on! So without further delay here are your favorites from 2011!
#9 Turtle Bars: Shortbread crust, dulce de leche, pecans and drizzle chocolate, what’s not to love?
#8 Pesto-Stuffed Chicken Rolls: My go to dinner for company.
#7 Pineapple Crunch Muffins: Moist and delicious pineapple muffins with a crunchy topping of Panko.
#6 Cream Cheese Brownie Cups: Cream cheese swirls in a delicious brownie cup.
#5 Bacon Garlic Bread Sticks: Bacon makes everything better, including bread sticks!
#4 Chocolate Cheesecake with Peanut Butter Cream: Chocolate and peanut butter, it’s my life.
#3 Sesame Chicken: The answer to all of my Chinese take out cravings!
#2 Apple Pie Egg Rolls: If you haven’t tried these, you must! They are so dang good!
#1 Dulce de Leche Brownies: They best brownies you’ll ever eat thanks to David Lebovitz!
Happy New Year Y’all!
Enjoy!
Miss

You’ve had a great year! I love doing end of year fave recipe posts but honestly, I don’t even think I posted 10 recipes last year, eeek!
Yum., yum…and yum. I’ve had those apple pie egg rolls printed out, since…well, since the beginning of this year! Maybe finally making them will be my new year’s resolution. Hm. Cheers, Milisa!
your food is awesome looking!
found you thru a link from Julie/littlekitchen
If I had to pick one, I’d have to go with the sesame chicken. But they all look so good!

Kind regards from Germany. I like your Blog very much. My favorite recipe is the Smoked Salmon Quiche. I have cooked it already three times, and always everybody was inspired. But there is still even more to cook … wish you the Best and a Happy New Year. Kerstin
