In case you missed it, I wanted to do a re-cap of the One-Pot Blogger Cooking Party from Emeril’s Sizzling Skillets and Other One-Pot Wonders.  It has been somewhat of a whirlwind of wonderful food that my family surely enjoyed.  I also wanted to say one more  thank you to Morrow Cookbooks – The Secret Ingredient Blog.  This was a great experience.

Of course the food was great!  The other bloggers were fabulous!  I enjoyed reading all of the other posts and seeing what everyone chose to cook.  Thanks to all of y’all who stuck with me, even though I couldn’t share every recipe.  I think I learned from the experience.  I tried foods that I had never tried and cooking methods that were new to me as well.  There is something to be said for slow cooking for developing flavors.

I have an interview with the “big city” newspaper next week and I have made some great connections through all of this.  I am glad that I had the chance to participate.

So here are the links to my nine posts plus a few others from my friends.

Wok-Seared Duck Salad

Braised Pork Chops with Apples and Onions

Baked Cavatappi with Chicken in a Pesto Cream Sauce

Cheddar Cheese Soup with Chicken and Peppers

Cajun Shrimp Stew

Beef & Broccoli

Tuscan White Bean Stew

Cola-Braised Pot Roast with Vegetables

Kung Pao Chicken

Farm Girl Gourmet  Tempura Fish & Chips  I still want to try this one!

Cookistry  Ancho-Rubbed Flap Steak  You know I can’t resist a steak recipe!

Diabetic Foodie  Indian-Inspired Beef with Yogurt Sauce   I am new to Indian food and this looks like a good one!

Not Rachael Ray  Deep Dish Pizza   This looks THE PIZZA!

And there are so many others, just click the links in the side bar to find them all!

Thanks again for sticking with me through this party!  We will be back to regular scheduled programming next week! Y’all have a wonderful weekend!

Disclosure: I was provided a copy of the cookbook, a set of the serving dishes by zak!, a bottle of Emeril’s spices, and a small grocery reimbursement.  Upon completion I will also receive a few of Emeril’s other cookbooks and one blogger will be chosen to win a T-Fal slow cooker.  All opinions shared are my own.

How smart of Emeril to give away copies of his new cookbook to food bloggers. I’m sure his cookbook will be a bestseller, given all of the blogging publicity! Everything you have made and posted on your blog looks delicious, Milisa, and I love that you incorporate stories about your ranch life in your posts. Have a great weekend! :-)

WOOT! Thanks for the shout out sistah! It’s been very fun cooking with everyone. Sad to see it end, but such is life. I think we all forged some great friendships that will last well beyond the Sizzling Skillet. :) Good luck with the paper, you’ll do FAB!!

I’ve seen a lot of these One Pot Wonders recipes, and I’ve been very impressed. This cook book sounds like it’s going to be a big hit for Emeril.
