This Cilantro Lime Slaw has been known to win over lots of people who swear that they don’t like coleslaw. It comes together in about 5 minutes and can be made ahead for potlucks.

Ingredients Needed

  • Mayonnaise
  • Sour Cream
  • Lime Juice
  • Sugar
  • Granulated Garlic
  • Kosher Salt
  • Fresh Ground Pepper
  • Cilantro
  • Slaw Mix (Shredded Cabbage + Carrots)

Step By Step Directions

In a large bowl, add mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, sugar, garlic, salt and pepper.

Whisk together until smooth.

Stir to combine.

Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes or until ready to serve.

Recipe Notes

Storage: Store coleslaw in an airtight container up to 3 days.

Variations: Add 1/2 cup sliced green onions with the cilantro for onion flavor.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice about 1/2 lime
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic

  • 14 oz slaw mix shredded cabbage and carrots

Instructions

  • In a large bowl add mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, sugar, garlic, salt and pepper. Whisk together.

  1. I would love to make 2 of your coleslaw recipes but they include an ingredient unknow to me, can you please tell me what a slaw mix is? Is it something you make or buy? I looked it up in more than one supermarket and didn’t find it.

      Slaw mix is simply pre-shredded cabbage and carrots. It’s just convenient. You can shred your own cabbage and carrot if the bag mix is not available. I hope you enjoy the coleslaw recipes.

  2. I don’t understand your ingredients…
    2 Tablespoons cup sour cream???
    Is it 2 Tablespoons or 2 cups??
